A tribute to the Greatest Player to ever play the game of Basketball. In case you all are wondering about my opinion on the Kobe vs. MJ thing, here it is. Kobe Bryant is my favorite player and, in my opinion, is the best player in the NBA right now. He and Jordan have equal skill sets. The both play D, have a sweet jumper, attack the basket, dish the ball and equal clutch abilites. Jordan, however is the best player to ever play becasue of what he has accomplished in his career and how he brought the game to life. However, Kobe Bryant still has about 7 or so years left to play and I do think he will surpass Michael Jordan as being the greatest NBA player of all time.

In yet another magnificent performance in the NBA Finals, Michael Jordan fell just one assist shy of his first triple-double in a Finals game. MJ scored 38 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and dropped nine dimes to lead the Bulls to a 97-85 win over the Utah Jazz in game two of the 1997 NBA Finals. Jordan's triple-double seemed like a sure thing after a pass late in the game to a wide open Scottie Pippen. Pip missed the layup, however, and Jordan finished with nine assists. Pippen had somewhat of an off night offensively, hitting just four of 13 shots for 10 points. Ron Harper scored 13 points on 5 of 10 shooting. The Jazz were led by Karl Malone's 20 points, followed by 19 from Jeff Hornacek and 14 from John Stockton. The Bulls took a 2-0 lead in the series and prepared to head to Utah for games 3, 4 and 5.

Mark Titus was a star in his high school playing days. He dreamed of playing at The Ohio State University and enrolled there and began with the OSU basketball team as the team manager. Later he was asked to walk-on after some players got hurt. This is a moving story about Mark's four years at Ohio State and how he made the most out of his time on the "end of the bench", including maintaining a blog with a humorous view of his situation, making wildly popular t-shirts which sold briskly and generated $30k for a foundation for kids with terminal illnesses. Mark is a great role model and encouragement to ANYBODY who feels like they have not achieved their dreams. He truly made lemonade out of lemons. Enjoy! Episode 16 "3 On 3" When Mei shows up, she cleans her brother's filthy room, but cannot stay at her Youhei's all-boy dorm, so Nagisa offers to have her stay at her home while she is in town. Tomoya and Youhei easily get Kyou to help with the basketball game, and she gets pumped up after a comment about pairing up with such loser guys. For half the game, Tomoya and the others play against first-year rookies, and manage to lead by eleven points, but then the basketball team switches with their starters and the score evens out. In the very last seconds of the game, Tomoya manages to make the last shot and win the game. Afterwards, Mei goes back to her hometown.

Episode #62, Season 3 A lovesick Dwayne convinces Walter to let him tag along on a recruiting trip to North Carolina, where he is trying to sign a high school basketball prospect. Walter gets pulled over for speeding and is arrested because of his unpaid jaywalking tickets. Alvin Dix, the young man Walter is recruiting, has to bail him out of jail. Alvin shows little interest in Hillman because he wants to play for legendary coach Cap Connors. Walter, who played for Connors, tells Dwayne that the coach cares only about basketball and discourages players from getting a good education. Walter and Dwayne cause a melee at a restaurant when they mistake Connors' wife for a groupie, as the coach had used attractive women to recruit players in the past. Alvin eventually realizes that he and Connors have philosophical differences, so he decides to consider Hillman. Dwayne causes problems throughout the trip because he keeps seeing Whitley's face on every woman and deer. Jaleesa engages in another battle of the sexes after Col. Taylor insists that he can repair the dorm's broken heater simply because he is a man.
